Steps To Transferring Data
iPad and iphone developers have made it so easy to transfer data using iTunes, the store you are already familiar with for purchasing apps and music for your iPhone or iPad.
- Check and make sure you have the latest version of iTunes and iOS. If you do not have it, download.
- Connect the old iPhone to iTunes and sync. Verify that your old iPhone is backed up.
- Connect your new iPhone to iTunes on the same computer you backed up your old iPhone.
- Follow the instructions. ITunes will query you to restore from a backup or set up your new iPhone as a new phone. When prompted, select the backup.
- When Tunes finishes restoring the backup, the new iPhone will restart.
- When the new iPhone appears in the iTunes window, just select it.
- Click the tabs that you are changing or verifying.
- Sync.
- Verity that your saved information such as messages, email accounts, passwords, photos, notes, and other information and settings are present on your new iPhone. You will have to reenter passwords for voicemail and set up your email account, but how easy is that? If you do not remember your voicemail password you can reset it.
