The camera application is one of the most awaited iPhone applications, whenever iPhone developers release a new version, the world rushes in to know more about it. Such is the simplicity of these applications. This application typically embodies the previously mentioned saying. It contains none of the unnecessary options needed in a camera unlike many other phones that do. Most of the camera mobile phones have 'n' number of options that are too confusing and leave the phone in a complete deadlock (when operated fast and unknowingly).
There have been numerous instances where the speed of the camera application comes down due to the presence of a large volume of photos. Due to the vast memory of an iPhone, presence of many photos does not hinder the speed of this application. Some phones, boast of a high resolution camera incorporated into it, but have no memory to support it. Hence iPhone camera application is designed in such a way that both the phone memory and the camera resolution support each other.
One of the main attractive features is that this application provides minimal hindrance to the photo-capture screen thus utilizing the entire LCD display for the purpose of the photograph to be taken. Also there are two types of the click button. One, on the touch screen and the other (which is a physical one) on the side of the phone (which is also the volume-up button).

FaceTime :- switching modes between the front and back side cameras
Autofocus :- With a single touch on the touch screen the object on the screen can be focused
Autoexposure :- There is a built in LED flash for evening time photos
Gridlines :- For perfect composition and positioning of the photos before clicking
Zoom :- For zooming in and zooming out (5x), the same way as scaling is done.
Camera icon :- There is a special camera icon on the lock screen for faster access to the camera.
Overall this futuristic iPhone applications are most advanced as on today and is yet to be outdone.
